The Paths Chapter of the West Virginia Poetry Society is an open group that meets to share, discuss and critique our poetry. We meet every other Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. at The Book Exchange on the corner of East Washington and Maxwell (a couple of blocks from the Capital Complex in Charleston). Everyone is welcome to attend.
The Paths Chapter is an open-minded group of free thinkers from all walks of life. We encourage people to find their own path in life and be who they are. We do not believe in censorship. We read banned books and respect one another's uniqueness.
Critiquing is done every other meeting. If you have a poem you would like to have critiqued, please bring about ten copies to a meeting so we can have a couple of weeks to digest the material. |
